A Residential System is classified as any setup where the existing water heaters are standard geysers, i.e. 100 – 500 litre units, where standard products are designated for this very application. In many instances, small to medium scale Guest Houses, Boarding Homes, or other public accommodation institutions are classified as residential projects.

Selected residential solar water heaters and heat pump systems qualify for predetermined Eskom Demand Side Management rebates, which are offered subject to system specific requirements.
